Thomas D. Kmiec 
was appointed to the Board as a representative of professional engineers in August 1998. He received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from John Carroll University and a Juris Doctorate from Cleveland Marshall Law School. He is president of T. D. Kmiec and Associates and is registered as a professional engineer in the state of Ohio and the state of Illinois. Mr. Kmiec is also a Diplomate of Environmental Engineering in the American Academy of Environmental Engineers. He holds memberships in the City of Cleveland and the State of Ohio Bar Associations and the Air and Waste Management Association.
